The company employs highly qualified personnel with experience in this field and industry knowledge.
The plant’s environmental issues are resolved comprehensively and cover all stages of oil refining production, as well as the production of products with high environmental properties, the use of which leads to a significant reduction in environmental pollution and the impact on human health. Regular environmental monitoring of the industrial and sanitary protection zone of the plant is carried out by the independent laboratory of IST-ECO LLP.
The personnel of the oil refinery undergo mandatory training and retraining (advanced training) on the basics of working in the environmental system, and regular monitoring of the specialists’ performance of functional responsibilities in the field of compliance with the rules and requirements of industrial safety and safe working conditions is carried out.
“According to the Industrial Environmental Control Program, the following types of monitoring are carried out at the Aktobe Oil Refinery LLP plant:
- Ambient air monitoring
- Water quality monitoring
- Soil monitoring
- Radiation safety monitoring
- Production control of physical factors
Every year the enterprise plans and implements a number of environmental protection measures. Thus, a number of environmental events are planned for 2020-2021 for a total amount of 17,380,000 tenge. One of the important activities is the design of work on the installation of gas analyzers at organized emission sources. Subsequently, based on design decisions, gas analyzers will be purchased and installed at these sources.
Also, the company annually carries out landscaping work in the surrounding area. Thus, during the period 2017-2019, 370 units of seedlings of deciduous and coniferous trees were planted.
